Form and Function Rolfing

February 20, 2010

Rolfing can be beneficial to a lot of different people. Regardless of your age, size, occupation, or body type, it can lead to a healthier life physically and mentally.  It can also be helpful for people going through changes in their personal relationships or going through a transitional period in life.  Rolfing can help people cope with physical and mental stresses on the body.

You might benefit from rolfing if you:

  • have acquired an injury from an accident
  • live with chronic pain or tension
  • feel out of balance
  • want to improve your body’s range of movement
  • are in a high stress situation at work or in a personal relationship
  • use your body extensively for work (athletes, dancers, firefighters, etc) and want to reduce the risk of injury
  • want to improve your posture or have scoliosis
  • would like to stand more upright
  • are pregnant or have recently given birth and want to enhance your body’s structure

If you are unsure about rolfing, please contact me for a free consultation to see if rolfing is right for you.  I am happy to discuss your concerns and all visits are completely confidential.
